Chaos King is on a quest to annihilate existence and leaves the bodies of gods in his path. After he destroys the underworld, the dead are able to return to life. Now, a handful of dead X-Men - Proudstar, Banshee, Moira MacTaggart, Multiple Man, and now Stepford Cuckoos - must join the fight to stop the Chaos King!
Alpha Flight also returns to from the grave when surviving member Sasquatch strikes a deal witht the team's former enemies the Great Beasts to bring the team back to life in exchange for protection from the wrath of Chaos King.
